Department of Computing and Information Systems, Senior Lecturer; Online MDS Programme Lead

Dr. Muhammad Bilal is currently working as Senior Lecturer at Sunway University's School of Engineering and Technology. Previously, he served as Assistant Professor at University of Southampton Malaysia.

His earlier roles include Assistant Professor and In-charge at FAST National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Tutor at Taylor's University, Lecturer at University of Sargodha, and Software Developer at Sofizar.

Dr. Muhammad Bilal has more than nine years of teaching experience overall. He received his Ph.D. degree from Taylor's University and was awarded the Taylor's PhD scholarship. He has authored and co-authored several journal and conference research papers. His research interests include Natural Language Processing, Data Mining and Analytics, Machine Learning, Social Computing, Social Network Analysis, and Software Engineering.
