What you will study

You will complete 7 core subjects across various topics, 1 elective subject, and 2 research projects. Study just 1 subject at a time in 7-week blocks for optimum learning outcomes while maintaining a healthy work-life-study balance.

Qualify with APEL.A

Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning for Access (APEL.A) T-7 is catered to individuals with work experience who want to pursue a master’s qualification, but do not possess a bachelor’s degree.

APEL.A evaluates the experiential learning gained from formal, informal, and non-formal learning to determine an individual’s readiness to join a programme of study – transforming your job experience into an official qualification for entry. Details on APEL.A can be found here.

Candidates must meet the following entry requirements to enrol in the Sunway University Online M.Ed.:

A bachelor's degree (Level 6, MQF) or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, as accepted by the HEP Senate

A bachelor's degree (Level 6, MQF) or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years’ working experience* in a relevant field. Applicants will be assessed for entry on a case-by-case basis

The completion of a prerequisite subject specified by the University for those with a bachelor’s degree in a non-related discipline (minimum CGPA of 2.00) or without the relevant work experience
