Professor and Deputy Dean, Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence

Prof. Dr. Angela Lee is a Deputy Dean (Employability & Alumni) in the School of Engineering and Technology at Sunway University in Malaysia. She has developed the data science curriculum for more than 10 years and was key to introducing the data science degree at Sunway University.

Dr. Lee was awarded the National Outstanding Educator Award and the SAS Global Forum Distinguished Educator Award for 2021 in the Asia Pacific Category. She regularly speaks at data science conferences and has developed innovative ways to use analytics and data science tools, from elementary to advanced analytics.

She teaches Social Media Analytics, Visual Analytics, Advanced Analytics, and Business Intelligence, and has authored many international journals in the area of churn analytics, sentiment analysis, predictive analytics, healthcare analytics, and healthy ageing technology adoption.
